1^st District Representative REX Gatchalian extends his public service for the residents of the 2^nd District by putting up an additional satellite service facility named REX Serbisyo Center situated at Barangay Gen. T. de Leon which started operating last month.

The Center provides assistance in various needs from medical, funeral, to scholarships.  Medical assistance are granted to all qualified requests covering the following hospitals: Philippine General Hospital, Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, San Lazaro Hospital, East Avenue Medical Center, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, Philippine Heart Center, Philippine Orthopedic Center, Valenzuela Medical Center, National Children’s Hospital, Philippines Children’s Medical Center, Dr. Jose Fabella Medical Center and Philippine Lung Center.

The center now processes an average of 20 requests daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm coming from the constituents in District 2’s nine barangays: Bagbaguin, Karuhatan, Gen. T. de Leon, Mapulang Lupa, Marulas, Maysan, Parada, Paso de Blas and Ugong.

15 year-old Noreen Vivien Andrada of Barangay Gen. T De Leon has already availed of the services and was granted Php 4,000 endownment to facilitate the CT Scan of her abdomen at the Philippine Heart Center.  “Nagpapasalamat ako kay Congressman REX Gatchalian. Malaking tulong po sa amin ang binigay niya sa aming pamilya. (I am very thankful to Congressman REX. The money is of great help for our family,” she expressed.

Through the said facility, Congressman REX upholds his commitment of REXponsableng Serbisyo.  “I have decided to put up another service center to fasten the response to all the needs of our fellow-Valenzuelanos in District 2.  Marami kasi tayong mga kababayan sa District 2 na humihingi ng tulong at nagpupunta sa aming opisina sa Malinta. (Many of our constituents from District 2 visit our office at Barangay Malinta are go to ask for assistance)” He uttered.
