Members of Damayan Aero Dance Club from Gen T. De Leon, Valenzuela City cheerfully gears up for the commencement of the early morning Zumba routines lines up for the 2022 Mega Zumba held at Wellness Entertainment Sports (WES) recently.  The activity gathered close to 2,000 Zumba enthusiasts from the 33 barangays in the City.  As part of Mayor WES Gatchalian’s birthday celebration this year, the mega event is set to become an annual activity due to its tremendous success.

City Officials, such as Valenzuela City Vice Mayor Lorie Natividad Borja (center), Ms. Tiffany Gatchalian (center right), and the rest of the City Council join the energetic crowd of Zumba enthusiasts during the recently concluded 2022 Valenzuela Mega Zumba held at the Wellness Entertainment Sports (WES) Arena.  The activity that gathered close to 2,000 participants is part of the birthday celebration of Mayor WES Gatchalian with his fellow-Valenzuelanos.

After almost three years of being effectively physically inactive due to the Covid-19 pandemic, close to 2,000 Valenzuelano Zumba enthusiasts gather recently for the first ever biggest Zumba event in the City dubbed as the 2022 Mega Zumba. The event was led by guests Celebrity Zumba enthusiasts Jopay and Joshua Zamora who act as Zumba Instructors to Valenzuelanos.

City Mayor WES Gatchalian, along with his wife Ms. Tiffany Gatchalian (center), and the rest of the City Council, led the close to 2,000 Valenzuelano enthusiasts during the first 2022 Mega Zumba event held recently at the WES Arena in Barangay Punturin, Valenzuela City. The event, which is part of Mayor WES’ birthday celebration, is now slated to be held annually due to massive success of its maiden implementation.
