Aside from food packs, the Valenzuela CSWDO also provides, hot meals, comfort kits and hygiene kits, and a mobile shower and toilet; all for the convenience of the affected by Typhoon Karding.

Valenzuela City Mayor WES Gatchalian visits different evacuation sites early this morning before Super Typhoon Karding hits Metro Manila, on September 25. A total of 7 evacuation sites were prepared for the communities that are prone to flood. Valenzuela City City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) are prepared to assist the needs of every client in the facility.

As the result of Super Typhoon “Karding”, Valenzuela City City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) assist over 106 families (388 individuals) in a school turned evacuation area on September 25, 2022. As the typhoon intensified, Valenzuela City Mayor WES Gatchalian visited other 6 evacuation sites namely: Mapulang Lupa 3S Center Orosco, Luis Francisco Elementary School, Coloong Elementary School, Constantino Elementary, Gen T. Mayor WES Gatchalian meets with the department heads first thing in the morning this, September 25, 2022. The meeting was attended by Valenzuela City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, City Social Welfare and Development Office, City Health Office, Agriculture Office, Budget Office, Public Information Office, Digital Communications Office, and DILG.
