Educational Assistance to Solo Parents
Valenzuelano Solo Parents are not Alone

Mayor WES Gatchalian (center) assures the 54 solo parent beneficiaries of the educational assistance to solo parents on November 8, at the Valenzuela City Town Hall that the City Government has their back and will launch more projects in support of their plight. The financial aid amounting to PhP 5,000 were given to qualified registered solo parents in the city. These beneficiaries shall receive educational assistance each semester, provided that the student benefiting from the program maintains a grade of 82% in each subject enrolled in. A solo parent gets emotional during the distribution of educational assistance to solo parents on November 8, at the Valenzuela City Town Hall. According to her, her child is about to graduate all because of the support given by Valenzuela City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).
