Collaboration Aiming for a Green Society

The City Government of Valenzuela conducts an Urban Greening Program in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – National Capital Region (DENR – NCR), San Miguel Brewery, Inc., PAMANA Transport Services, Inc., and St. Martin of Tours Trailways, Inc., November 4, 2022, with over 30 volunteers participating in the tree-planting program. They planted 200 Bougainvilleas, 7 Molave Trees, and 50 Bamboo Trees at Disiplina Village Bignay. The project aims to contribute to mitigation of the hazards of climate change, and to help reduce carbon footprints of the participating companies.

A volunteer from Disiplina Village Bignay Integrated Community Food Production (ICFP) digs the ground to plant Bamboo Trees in Disiplina Village Bignay, November 4, 2022. The City Government of Valenzuela conducted an Urban Greening Program in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – National Capital Region (DENR – NCR), San Miguel Brewery, Inc., PAMANA Transport Services Inc., and St. Martin of Tours Trailways, Inc.
