
Fireworks illuminates Valenzuela City’s sky as its official Christmas Tree is lit for more than 8,000 dedicated employees of the city hall, December 1 at Valenzuela City People’s Park. The 50-foot-tall tree which is adorned with spheres of lights stands proudly amidst the luminance of the interactive fountain and the adornments of lights at the whole park to send a message of continued progress in the City. The Tree was brought back under the leadership of Mayor WES Gatchalian after two years of hiatus due to COVID-19 pandemic. Loyalty cash incentives were given to employees who reached 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40-year milestones in civil service along with cash raffles amounting to PhP 280,000 in total.

This year, the 50-foot-tall tree is adorned with spheres of light and is being dedicated to the contribution of more than 8,000 city hall employees to the continuation of good governance in the city and its progress.
