Thirty-two Valenzuelano youth join the 40th NCR-Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Day held at Mandaluyong City Gymnasium, July 27, 2013. The anniversary celebration showcased wide range of talents of youth from Valenzuela City and other 8 cities and municipalities in Metro Manila in different contested events like interpretative dance, skills olympics, Filipino games and the Search for PYAP Ambassador and Ambassadress.

The anniversary celebration showcased wide range of talents of youth from Valenzuela City and other 8 cities and municipalities in Metro Manila in different contested events like interpretative dance, skills olympics, Filipino games and the Search for PYAP Ambassador and Ambassadress.

The new set of PYAP-NCR Federation Officers were also inducted. PYAP Valenzuela President Aldren Aynaga was elected as the federation's public relations officer.

Pasig City is this year's champion for interpretative dance.

Pasay City is second, after Pasig, in interpretative dance.

Delegation of Valenzuela City, composed mainly of out-of-school youth, places third in interpretative dance.

Valenzuela City's entries to the Skills Olympics also notch the third place. Their winning piece is a picture frame made out of recycled materials.

Delegates of Valenzuela City to the 40th PYAP-NCR Day place third in both interpretative dance and skills olympics, two of the major friendly competitions with Quezon City, Pasay, Pasig, Marikina, San Juan, Las Pinas, Pateros and the host city, Mandaluyong.
