Valenzuelano TODAs Get a Lift Through Pantawid Pasada Program
PANTAWID
TODA members with updated franchises line up to get their cash aids from the Department of Energy's Pantawid Pasada Program.
LIST OF BENEFICIARIES
A staff of the VCTO checks the list of beneficiaries who will receive their cash transfer.
CASH AID
Some 4,419 qualified members from 41 Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) in the city will receive an initial cash transfer of PhP 150 as beneficiaries.
EXPEDITED
The program is implemented in the city through the Valenzuela City Transportation Office’s (VCTO) Tricycle Regulatory Unit (TRU), in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government-Valenzuela.

The program was established through Executive Order 32 of President Benigno Simeon Aquino III and will be implemented nationwide.

On the average, a tricycle operator consumes about four liters of fuel for a day of "pasada."
DRIVEN
A tricycle driver on the average has a take home pay of 300-400 pesos, after fuel expenses and "boundary" were taken from a day of hard work.
