Dubbed as, “Tayo ang simula ng Pasko, Alagang Valenzuelano alay namin sa inyo,” the tree-lighting ceremony was attended by members of volunteer groups from Ateneo Center for Educational Development (ACED), Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) Federation, and WIN Mothers Club.

The Tree of Hope was lit at around 8:30 p.m. Highlights of the ceremony include the dramatic multimedia presentation of “Volunteer” (a short musical documentary about the routine of volunteers from humble backgrounds), fireworks display, and gift giving.

HOPE SHINES ETERNAL
The traditional lighting ceremony of Valenzuela City’s symbolic Christmas tree, the “Tree of Hope,” paid homage to the volunteers who have been instrumental in making the K to 6 In-School Feeding Program a success, last December 7, 2012 at the Valenzuela City Hall Grounds.
