The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) is tasked to provide social protection and promote the rights and welfare of the poor and vulnerable groups. It formulates and develops plans and strategies on social welfare programs and projects while ensuring the delivery of basic services. it strives for the provision of adequate facilities to uplift the status of marginalized sectors of the society by helping them become self-reliant and active members of the society.
FACILITIES:
1. Bahay Kalinga - a halfway home for individuals needing temporary care brought about by the difficult circumstances they are in. The istitution caters to clients who are found and rescued in the streets of Valenzuela.
