Appointment FAQ's

• How will I know my appointment schedule?
  

  An appointment letter will be sent to your registered address indicating the date, time, and site of your vaccination.



• What do I need to bring for my appointment?
  

  Don't forget to bring your ValTrace QR Code, and own pen on your vaccination appointment. If you are getting your second dose, you also need to bring your VCVax Passport.



• Will I be screened before vaccination?
  

  Yes, health screening and assessment will be conducted before vaccination to ensure that you are eligible to receive the vaccine.



• Do I need to stay at the vaccination site for an observation period?
  

  Yes, you will be advised to stay at the venue for at least 30 minutes after the inoculation. This is to monitor your body’s reaction to the vaccine.



• When should I get my second dose?
  

  The interval of doses varies per vaccine. For AstraZeneca, the second dose can be given between 4 to 12 weeks after the first dose, while Sinovac is taken 4 weeks apart.
