The examination is scheduled on March 12, 2023. The scholarship grants underprivileged Grade 12 students. Only candidates who meet the requirements in full and are qualified will be processed. Subject to verification by the barangay and academic records, students who have lived in the city for at least four years may also qualify.

Under the scholarship, the grantee is entitled to PhP 30,000 annually or PhP 15,000 per semester for any chosen course and school in public or private colleges and universities— as long as accredited by The Commission on Higher Education (CHED). To maintain the scholarship, the grade should not be lower than 2.25, while the general average of 2.00 per semester is required until they graduate.
