In addition to the existing establishments in the city, Valenzuela City Government, through the leadership of Mayor WES Gatchalian, officially inaugurated and opened the 638 square-meter-wide Dalandanan Multi-purpose Building to the public at Esteban South, Barangay Dalandanan, January 28.
As one of the local government's commitments to give the communities enough spaces, establishments are continued to be built to provide facilities for the citizens that they can use for free. The goal of the local government is to bring the needs of the people closer to their community. No more looking elsewhere and spending more.
Dalandanan Multi-purpose Building was funded and started its construction when Mayor WES was still sitting in the House of Representatives as a Deputy Speaker of the 18th Congress. Moreover, this is part of the projects of the City Government of Valenzuela in ensuring that there will be enough public spaces and facilities to be used for different activities, gatherings, and meetings. The said multi-purpose building houses a covered Basketball Court, a stage, and bleachers all around the hall.
Mayor WES also went around and inspected the entire hall to see what other amenities could be added to the said facility.
Along with the said inauguration, the city government put up the #AlagangValenzuelano medical mission to provide free check-ups, medicines, and family planning services for the citizens.
Joining the ceremony were Dalandanan Punong Barangay Benny Encarnacion and council, Councilor Cris Feliciano, and Liga ng mga Barangay President, Councilor Jonjon Bartolome.
