The City Government of Valenzuela, under the leadership of Mayor WES Gatchalian and the City Council, extends the deadline for online business permit renewals and business tax payments until January 31, 2023, for businesses using the Paspas Permit payment system.

The 9th City Council passed Ordinance No. 1074, titled “An Ordinance Extending the Deadline for Online Payment of the Renewal of Business Taxes and/or Fees for the Year 2023 until January 31, 2023, Exclusively for Business Establishments Utilizing the “Paspas Permit” System” which effectively extends the deadline for the renewal of business permits through the online end-to-end payment channel of the city known as the “Paspas Permit” system without interests, surcharges, and other penalties.

Initially, the deadline set by the city government for the first quarter's onsite and online business permit renewal and tax payment was January 20, 2023.

Paspas Permit can be accessed online by visiting Valenzuela City's website at www.valenzuela.gov.ph and by clicking the 3S Plus Valenzuela City Online Services button. New users can create their accounts where they can transact a variety of online services of the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), City Assessor's Office, City Treasurer's Office, Office of the Building Official (OBO), Local Civil Registry, City Health Office, and City Zoning Office.

The ordinance encourages business owners and taxpayers to use the online payment channel of the city to ensure efficiency and to maximize the city’s program which aims to lessen manual transactions. With this, the city continues to align with its mission to comply with the Ease of Doing Business law and maintain its reputation of being a business-friendly city.
