Two (2) Valenzuelano Topnotchers, Ms. Leonah Jean De Los Reyes Polopot, DMD, and Mr. Raphael Dillena, LPT, gave pride to the City in triumphs of their corresponding Licensure Examination last 2022.

Valenzuela City Mayor WES Gatchalian personally expressed his warmest commendation to Ms. Polopot, a Licensed Dentist of Brgy. Rincon and November 2022 Dentistry Licensure Examination Top 9 with a rating of 82.07%. This was done with the presence of the City Council of Valenzuela last February 13, 2023. 

On the other hand, Mr. Dillena, a Licensed Teacher of Brgy. Wawang Pulo and an October 2022 Secondary Level Licensure Examination for Teachers Top 9, got a rating of 92.60%.

The city government is set to grant an incentive amounting to 20,000 Php to the two Valenzuelano Topnotchers. Per Ordinance No. 475, Series of 2018, or the “Valenzuela City Topnotchers Incentives Ordinance,” amended by Ordinance No. 982, Series of 2022, board topnotchers ranking sixth to tenth who are residents of Valenzuela City are entitled to receive a cash incentive worth 20,000 Php.

Valenzuelano Topnotchers’ achievement and expertise in their chosen field are an inspiration to the city, as well as pride to their respective alma maters, Our Lady of Fatima University- Valenzuela which Ms. Polopot attended, and Meycauayan College which Mr. Dillena attended.
