Four men were caught in the act of using methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu, at a house in Valenzuela City before dusk, November 9, 2015.

The Valenzuela City Police Station Anti-Illegal Drugs (SAID) Division  recovered a sachet of shabu and pieces of drug paraphernalia at the house of Antonio Bautista, 55, electrician, one of the suspects, in Barangay Arkong Bato during a raid held around 3:30 p.m. Two suspects escaped while Bautista and Benicio Dalida, 56, driver, a resident of Panghulo, Obando, Bulacan, were arrested.

The police had been monitoring the illegal activities and been keeping watch of Bautista’s house. Yesterday, it was even Bautista’s four-year-old child who led the police to the house, where Bautista and the three other suspects were holding a pot session.

Earlier on the same day, at 2:00 p.m., the police had also apprehended in Arkong Bato’s neighboring Barangay Balangkas a man in whose possession were found 42 sachets of shabu, which had a total weight of 16 grams; a sachet of marijuana; and a digital weighing scale.

The police said the suspect Jonjon Bolo Garrote, 39, a resident of Barangay Balangkas, sources illegal drugs from Bayugo, Meycauayan, Bulacan and sells them in Valenzuela.

The arrests were done by SAID chief Police Chief Inspector Allan Ruba, Senior Police Officer 4 Ronald Sanchez, Police Officer 3 Sherwin Fajardo, and Senior Police Officer 2 Arwin Garcia.
