Sharing the desire of Valenzuela City, led by Mayor WES Gatchalian, in building a city that binds together, five Multi-purpose Halls were consecutively inaugurated throughout the weekend, November 26 and 27.
In addition to the existing establishments in the City of Valenzuela, the Local Chief himself, Mayor WES, spearheaded the official opening of the five Multi-purpose Buildings to the public. Inside every Multi-purpose Hall, there stands a basketball court that serves as events center, a stage and a mini-office for the staffs and officials of their respective barangays.
The continuous construction of the Multi-purpose Halls is part of Mayor WES’ initiative since he took the office as the head of the City, with the aim of providing enough spaces to the people where they can freely hold their meetings, events and other activities. Moreover, one of the goals of this initiative is to give the people their own hall so that they don't have to worry about finding a venue every time they have an activity.
The following were among the areas with new Multi-purpose Halls:
November 26, 2022
· Barangay Canumay West – Sacred Heart Subdivision (200 square meters)
· Barangay Mabolo (160 square meters)
· Barangay Veinte Reales – C. Santiago (600 square meters)
November 27, 2022
· Barangay Dalandanan – A. Marcelo (700 square meters)
· Barangay Veinte Reales – Bartolome Subdivision (700 square meters)
Meanwhile, Valenzuela City Vice Mayor Lorie Natividad-Borja and the members of the City Council also joined the two-day inaugurations.
