Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) was recognized as the Most Efficient Unit in CAMANAVA area for the implementation of the Intensified Cleanliness Policy (ICP) during the Northern Police District’s (NPD) 121^st Police Anniversary celebration, held at the Valenzuela City Center for the Performing Arts Auditorium, CJ Santos, Malinta, Valenzuela City, August 17.

With the theme “Matibay na Ugnayan ng Pulisya at Mamamayan, Tungo sa Pagkakaisa, Kapayapan at Kaunlaran”, the NPD acknowledged the policemen, patrols and battalions who went extra mile to perform their duty for the country.

PBGEN Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., the Deputy Regional Director for Administration of NCRPO, said during the program the importance of a healthy connection of the authority to the community. From there, he also noted that their success as an organization will manifest through the product of their hardships.

“Ito ang magiging batayan natin kung epektibo ba ang ating pagtatrabaho. Bagamat napakahalaga ng maayos na istratehiya at pagpaplano sa ikatatagumpay ng ating adhikain, programa at proyekto, isa sa pinakamabisang paraan upang masabi nating tayo ay nagtatagumpay ay kung nakikita at nararamdaman ng ating mga kababayan ang ating mga pagsisikap at ginagawa, [at] ‘yun ay ang pagkakaroon ng tahimik, payapa at maunlad na pamayanan,” PBGEN Hidalgo said. [This will be our basis if our work is effective. Although proper strategy and planning are very important to the success of our aspirations, programs and projects, one of the most effective ways to tell that we are succeeding is if our citizens see and feel our efforts and actions, [and] that is having a quiet, peaceful and progressive community].

The NPD is composed of the cities residing in the CAMANAVA boundaries. It includes Caloocan City, Malabon City, Navotas City and Valenzuela City. These 4 stations help each other hand in hand in maintaining peace and order in their respective community.
