Valenzuela City, under the leadership of Mayor WES Gatchalian, proudly partnered with Go Negosyo for the second time in the successful 3M on Wheels event held today, August 17, 2024 at SM City Valenzuela. Building on the momentum from the first event on July 1, 2023, which saw over 2,000 participants, this year's program continued to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by providing critical support in Mentorship, Money, and Market.
The 3M on Wheels program, spearheaded by Go Negosyo, is a nationwide mentorship platform that offers entrepreneurs guidance on navigating the challenges of starting and scaling their businesses. The latest event at SM City Valenzuela attracted a significant number of participants eager to learn from industry experts and gain insights into achieving business success.
Mayor WES highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fostering local economic growth. “Isang karangalan po na muli ay maging host ang Valenzuela sa ikalawang pagkakataon, dahil alam naman po natin na naging successful ito last year. Kaya natutuwa po ako na nandito muli sa SM Valenzuela ang 3M on Wheels para makatulong sa ating mga kababayan. Ang inyong partisipasyon sa mga ganitong programa signifies your will to learn, kaya sana ay kunin natin ang pagkakataong ito para matuto sa mga experiences ng ating mga mentors sa kanilang journey to success.” [It is a great honor to once again host 3M on Wheels for the second time, because of how successful the first one was. We are very happy to have it here again in SM City Valenzuela to help our aspiring entrepreneurs. Your participation in these kind of events signifies your will to learn, so I hope you take this chance to learn more about the experiences our mentors here have experienced in their journey to success.] said Mayor WES during his address.
More than 500 registered participants in today's event benefited from free one-on-one mentorship sessions with experienced business leaders from various industries. Additionally, they had the opportunity to connect with financial institutions and explore market access options, providing them with the necessary tools to scale their businesses effectively.
The Valenzuela City Government's support for 3M on Wheels aligns with its broader initiatives to promote ease of doing business, exemplified by the Paspas Permit system, which streamlines the business registration process. These efforts have been instrumental in fostering a business-friendly environment that encourages investment and entrepreneurship in the city.
Also present during the event were Go Negosyo founder Mr. Joey Concepcion, DTI Secretary Ma. Cristina Roque, successful business influencer Kiko Matthew, PCCI-Valenzuela President Helen Lising, and other businessmen and mentors.
As Valenzuela continues to collaborate with organizations like Go Negosyo, the city reaffirms its commitment to providing opportunities for local entrepreneurs, ensuring sustained economic growth and development.
