The City Government of Valenzuela, through the City Veterinary Services Offices, provides free neutering services for cats and dogs with “Libreng Kapon para kay Bantay at Muning” at the Valenzuela City People’s Park Amphitheater, September 1, 2024.

Almost 200 Valenzuelano pet owners participated in “Libreng Kapon para kay Bantay at Muning” by the City Veterinary Services Office to get free neutering services for their male cats and dogs. Due to its limited slot offer, this free service catered only to pre-registered Valenzuelano participants.

The City Veterinary Services Office posted the qualifications for the neutering service which are 1) the pet cat or dog must be male, 2) the pet must be at age 7 months to 7 years old, 3) the pet must be in good health or without underlying health issues before the operation. Alongside, the pets must be cleaned before their neuter procedure, should not have eaten the night before their surgery, must wear a dog cone collar to protect their wounds, and must be in a separate cage during recovery. Pet owners were also advised to regularly clean and tend their pet’s wounds to avoid further complications.

“Libreng Kapon para kay Bantay at Muning” is one of the city’s programs and activities in its campaign for responsible pet ownership.

Valenzuelanos may check out Valenzuela City's official social media platforms for upcoming schedules for “Libreng Kapon para kay Bantay at Muning”. For inquiries and concerns, you may reach out to the City Veterinary Services Office at 8352-2000 loc. 2111.
