There goes the familiar tune - It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas - as Valenzuela City’s Food Fiesta and Christmas Bazaar returns in full exuberance after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19 pandemic, December 1, 2022.

Following the lighting of the City’s official Christmas Tree, the Tuloy ang Progreso Tree, at the Valenzuela City People’s Park, Mayor WES Gatchalian led the official ribbon cutting kick-off of the festivities at C.J. Santos Street in Barangay Malinta against the crowd of elated shoppers and craving foodies.

The City’s Local Economic Development and Investments Promotion Office (LEDIPO) and the Valenzuela City Parks Administration Office once again turned the C.J. Santos St. across the Valenzuela City People’s Park into a food and goods hall for some 75 local entrepreneurs.

Shops selling items such as clothes, plants, shoes, among others, and food stalls serving sausages, vegan food, barbecues, pizzas, burgers, doughnuts, and more, at neighbor-friendly prices.

This year, another venue was added for Valenzuelano gastronomes at the newly-reclaimed and pedestrianized road, the Fatima Avenue. A total of 34 food stalls were added to the already bustling food establishments in its stretch.

Valenzuelanos and visiting shoppers and foodies can savour the #PaskongValenzuelano spirit at C.J. Santos St. with the Food Fiesta satisfying everyone’s cravings from December 1 to 18, Thursdays to Sundays from 5:00pm to 11:00pm, and the Christmas Bazaar offering easy “budol” finds from December 1 to 25 from 10:00am to 11:00pm.

Fatima Avenue, on the other hand, shall open on the following schedules:

- December 1 to 4, 2022,

- December 6 to 11, 2022, and

- December 13 to 23, 2022

Mondays to Saturdays from 5:00pm to 11:00, and Sundays at 9:00am to 11:00pm.
