In a move to further support the education system in the city, the City Government of Valenzuela, headed by Mayor WES Gatchalian and joined by Senator WIN Gatchalian led the blessing and turnover of 63 new WIN Serbisyo Vans, during a ceremony held at Puregold Dalandanan Parking Grounds on October 5, 2024. These serbisyo vans will be distributed across several public schools in the city to assist in general transport needs of the schools.
The purchase of the vans, each priced at PhP 1,099,900, and totaling PhP 69,293,700, was made possible through the funding of the Office of Senator WIN Gatchalian. This initiative seeks to equip public schools with reliable vehicles to support transportation needs for various school activities, such as staff transport, student program support, and logistical management. It also addresses the requests of public school principals and teachers raised during the People’s Day sa Barangay caravans.

By providing these additional resources, the city government aims to ensure smoother day-to-day operations for schools. The vehicles will ensure flexibility in coordinating events and other community engagements, ultimately allowing schools to focus more on delivering quality education for the students.
[The lives of every teacher does not end with teaching, that is why I hope that these vans could help in your extra-curricular activities and with other operations. We are also in the process of building the new schools division office, it will house training centers, auditorium, breakout rooms for our teachers. I hope these offer a little more comfort in providing quality education for our youth.]
T. De Leon, Marulas, at Mapulang Lupa.” [In celebration of teacher’s day, our tribute to the teachers serves as our gratitude for their endless sacrifices in delivering quality education to our students. These vehicles are not enough, that is why we are also building the new central kitchen and three ValACE in Barangays Gen. T. De Leon, Marulas, and Mapulang Lupa.]
