As the city welcomes a new century of continued progress, the City Government of Valenzuela, under the leadership of Mayor WES Gatchalian, celebrated Industry Night 2024 at Valenzuela City People’s Park Amphitheater on November 15, 2024. This year’s event coincided with the annual Tree of Hope lighting ceremony and the opening of the Valenzuela Food Fiesta and Christmas Bazaar at CJ Santos Street in Brgy. Malinta, bringing the community together for a festive and significant gathering.

The highlight of Industry Night 2024 was the ceremonial signing for the partnership on the Multi-year Management Services with AC Health led by its president Mr. Paolo Borromeo, marking a new chapter for the soon-to-open Valenzuela Health Medical Center in Barangay Paso De Blas. Through this endeavor, AC Health is set to bring invaluable public health consultancy and management expertise to Valenzuela’s healthcare services. This partnership reinforces Valenzuela City’s dedication to delivering quality healthcare to every Pamilyang Valenzuelano, aligning with the city’s initiatives under the Universal Health Care (UHC) law.

Adding to the evening’s memorable moments was the recognition of the 2023 Top Job Providers and Taxpayers of Valenzuela City. This acknowledgment celebrates businesses and institutions that have not only contributed significantly to local employment but have also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the economic vitality of the city.

In his address, Mayor WES Gatchalian extended his heartfelt appreciation to the city’s industries and business partners, emphasizing their essential role in fostering economic growth and community development in Valenzuela City. He also introduced the upcoming Valenzuela Health Medical Center, a state-of-the-art ambulatory and surgical medical facility set to rise in Barangay Paso De Blas. In addressing the challenges posed by hospital congestion, the Valenzuela Health Medical Center will provide essential multi-specialty care not only to Valenzuelanos but also to residents from neighboring cities, underscoring the city’s commitment to advancing healthcare accessibility for all. 

“My goal is to transform our City and be known not only as an Industrial Center but also as a Livable City. With health as one of our priorities, one of my dreams is for Valenzuela City to have quality healthcare services on a par with private hospitals. Tonight, that dream will be a reality as we formalize the partnership with AC Health for the management of our Valenzuela Health Medical Center.

The event was attended by city officials, business leaders, and industry stakeholders, all sharing in the city’s vision of a thriving Valenzuela propelled by solid partnerships.

The 2024 Industry Night served as a testament to the city’s ongoing commitment to its industries and the well-being of its citizens, celebrating another milestone for the new century of sustainable growth and an enhanced quality of life for every Pamilyang Valenzuelano.
